The aerial fitness club may have added a few miles to the minibus over the last couple of weekends, but we think it was worth it. Here are some more catches from the second half of the club members. They even got some double somersaults in!

10B2 Business had fun being 'Quality Control Inspectors' in our lesson today, checking the colour, size, shape, taste and oil content of three crisp brands.
We talked about the importance of quality assurance in business, and the impact it can have when businesses fail to robustly quality check their goods and services.
The class were great inspectors and quickly identified the premium brand! 🥔

WOW! What a feast! Year 7 have been learning about 'Sewa', selfless service in Sikhism 🪯.
7A1 RE held their own langar meal today, sharing selflessly with each other the food they had brought in. Mrs Webb was so impressed, and particularly loved the homemade pierogi, cheese scones, samosas and cookies. Such a treat!

Year 10 RE students enjoyed a drizzly visit to Winchester Cathedral.
We had a tour from expert educators, Emma and Aisha, followed by a Q&A session with Canon Gary Philbrick. Canon Gary has fond memories of Cantell having been priest-in-charge of St Alban's Church for many years.
Our students represented the school brilliantly and asked lots of great questions to better understand the art, architecture, history, and Christian traditions at the heart of the cathedral.

Our Year 10 students have attended college taster days this half term which is a great opportunity to experience college environments and courses. Students have visited Peter Symonds, Richard Taunton Sixth Form College, City College Southampton, Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, Itchen Sixth Form College, Eastleigh College, CEMAST College and Sparsholt College.
We are grateful to all the colleges for providing these opportunities.
We would recommend attending the college open events in the Autumn term to find out more about each college and why you should consider applying.
